Model: GWTG601 Land Drainage Geotextile Filter Sock 80mm x 25m Used for the protection of perforated land drain. The Filter Sock works by preventing soil and other debris particles (such as sand) from entering perforated drain, without which could lead to the drain becoming blocked, restricting water flow. The filter sock bridges the corrugations of the pipe, creating a much larger surface area for water absorption, to increase the efficiency of the system. Filter socks should be used alongside traditional geotextile membrane, as a filter sock alone will quickly clog with silt and debris.
